Stella turns missed calls into booked appointments and is the first in a series of AI capabilities built on Solutionreach’s 25 years of experience.
We've spent 25 years learning how practices operate, how they communicate with patients and where opportunities are being lost. Stella is the first of many ways we are putting that experience to work.”
LEHI, UT, UNITED STATES, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Solutionreach, a patient engagement platform serving dental, vision, and medical practices, today announced the launch of Stella, an AI receptionist that answers patient calls around the clock and books appointments directly into the practice schedule. This powerful product is the first in a series of AI-powered capabilities designed specifically for healthcare that the company plans to take to market.— Ken Ernsting, CEO of Solutionreach.
The launch marks the next phase in Solutionreach’s evolution. After 25 years of helping healthcare practices manage patient communication through appointment reminders, recall, two-way texting, payments, reviews and online scheduling, the company is now applying that experience to AI. Stella allows practices to mitigate the impact of missed calls on revenue and practice growth while providing a seamless experience for patients.
“AI has enormous potential for healthcare practices, but it has to solve real problems and fit into the systems that practices already use every day,” said Ken Ernsting, CEO of Solutionreach. “We have spent 25 years learning how practices operate, how they communicate with patients and where opportunities are being lost. Stella is the first of many ways we are putting that experience to work with AI.”
Available now for dental, vision and medical practices, Stella answers forwarded calls 24/7, including after-hours and overflow calls, and recognizes scheduling intent in inbound text messages. She can book, reschedule, cancel, and confirm appointments through Solutionreach’s scheduling engine, writing directly to the practice management system rather than simply capturing a lead for staff to follow up with later. Stella follows the scheduling rules each practice sets, books what she is allowed to book, and escalates anything she shouldn't touch. The practice stays in charge; Stella just handles the volume.
Because Stella operates within the Solutionreach platform, appointments she books can also move directly into the practice’s existing patient communication workflows, including appointment reminders, intake, insurance collection, payments, reviews, and recall. The result is AI that works as part of the practice rather than as another disconnected technology for staff to manage.
Stella currently supports nearly 30 leading practice management systems across dental, including Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental and Denticon; vision, including Crystal PM, RevolutionEHR, Compulink and MaximEyes; and medical, including athenahealth, Nextech and NextGen. Additional integrations are planned.
“Stella turns missed calls into booked appointments, and because she works with the practice management systems practices already run on through our many authorized integrations, that value shows up in the schedule on day one,” Ernsting said.
Stella is available now, with additional AI-powered Solutionreach capabilities to follow. For more information or to see Stella in action, visit Solutionreach's AI Receptionist page.
