Seven-year-old Australian-Indonesian singer Arrow Travnick launches her debut single, exploring AI and creativity through the eyes of Gen Alpha.
I love singing and dancing and making music because it makes me happy. I hope kids listen to my song and dance to it and have fun.”
SYDNEY, NSW, AUSTRALIA, October 30, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Sydney’s Arrow Travnick recorded her debut song at six, has modelled across Asia and dreams of becoming a K-pop idol. Now the Australian-Indonesian performer has launched her music career with Gen Alpha (Me vs AI).— Arrow Travnick, Australian-Indonesian singer and performer
The contemporary pop track explores artificial intelligence through the eyes of a child growing up with AI embedded in everyday life, delivering a message that imagination, ideas and creativity still come from the human being behind it.
Arrow hopes other children will enjoy singing and dancing along.
“I love singing and dancing and making music because it makes me happy and it was really exciting getting to record my own song,” Arrow said.
“AI can do lots of amazing things, but people can have their own ideas and be creative too and that is what I like about the song.
“I hope kids listen to it and dance to it and have fun.”
Arrow’s entry into music happened almost by accident when she travelled to Indonesia with her family in December 2025 and was scouted at six to explore recording original music.
She subsequently worked with Indonesian creative and production company PT Lihat Dengar Rasakan (LDR), primarily alongside producer David Elsandro and songwriter and musician Audree Dewangga.
The single is published by Sony Music Publishing Indonesia and accompanied by an official music video.
Arrow’s father, Caleb Travnick, said watching his daughter progress from performing at home to recording an original song had been extraordinary.
“Arrow is still a normal seven-year-old who goes to school, spends time with her friends and family and loves singing, dancing, fashion, arts and crafts, but she also has this incredible creative side that she absolutely loves exploring,” Mr Travnick said.
“When the opportunity arose in Indonesia, we didn't know where it would lead, but she loved the experience of recording and creating something of her own and that was the most important thing for us.
“We aren't trying to map out an adult career for a seven-year-old because she has plenty of time to work out where life will take her, but while she loves music this much, we want to give her the opportunity to explore that talent and see what she can create.”
Generation Alpha is the subject of debate among parents, educators and technology companies. Arrow’s music approaches that changing world through the eyes of someone growing up in it.
Her family hopes future songs will explore what it feels like to belong to Generation Alpha, giving younger listeners a voice in conversations often dominated by adults.
Born into a world of smartphones, streaming and social media, Arrow belongs to a generation whose relationship with technology is developing alongside its understanding of the world. The song brings that experience into a pop setting, with creativity and self-expression at its heart.
“Adults talk about AI all the time and whether it is good or bad, but for children Arrow's age, technology is simply part of the world they have been born into,” Mr Travnick said.
“That was what made Gen Alpha (Me vs AI) such an interesting first song for Arrow, because it takes this enormous global conversation and looks at it from the perspective of a seven-year-old.
“We want her music to be fun and entertaining, but there is also an opportunity for her songs to reflect the experiences, challenges and conversations shaping the generation she belongs to.”
Arrow was already comfortable in front of the camera, having undertaken children’s modelling and commercial campaigns across Asia, including with Le Petit Society in Singapore, Terry Palmer in Indonesia and Zuma Sandals in Indonesia.
Represented in Australia for modelling and commercial work by Munchkins Talent Agency, she continues training in singing, dance and piano while attending school in Sydney.
Her music is being developed as contemporary pop inspired by her world, with themes connecting younger listeners and their parents.
Five additional original songs are being developed for a planned mini album exploring Generation Alpha’s experiences, challenges and everyday life. Recording and larger projects are organised primarily around school holidays, allowing Arrow to enjoy childhood while developing her music at an age-appropriate pace.
For her family, the release represents an opportunity to encourage an interest she already loves, while keeping school, friendships and family life central to her childhood.
The planned mini album will build on the debut’s generational theme, exploring different aspects of growing up today through original music rather than having adults continually interpret those experiences on children’s behalf.
Her ambitions include becoming a K-pop idol and collaborating with Bruno Mars, her ultimate dream collaboration as she develops her music.
“Arrow is seven, so naturally her dreams may change many times as she grows up, but right now music and performing genuinely excite her and we want to support that in a healthy and positive way,” Mr Travnick said.
“For now, she has released her first song, she has another five original songs being developed and, most importantly, she is having an incredible amount of fun doing something she loves.
“Where it goes from here is anyone's guess, but it's certainly going to be exciting to watch.”
