Next-generation AI film production company is the first studio ever to complete multiple genre titles in this new medium

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, August 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Magic Engine Studios announced today the release of their fifth full-length feature film, ASTRO CATS: THE MOVIE, a sci-fi gonzo space comedy, which will premiere on Alchemy Streaming via Apple TV and Roku on August 15th.

This milestone represents the culmination of approximately one year of production for all five-features and demonstrates the commercial viability of the Magic Engine production pipeline—a repeatable methodology for producing original entertainment through the orchestration of commercially available generative AI technologies and traditional filmmaking disciplines.

Over the past year, Magic Engine Studios completed and released five original feature movies through their proprietary production methodology, helmed exclusively by Gage. Collectively, the productions represent 349 minutes of original feature entertainment. They also span multiple genres, including science fiction, fantasy, action, holiday entertainment, comedy, and family programming, illustrating the flexibility of the Magic Engine production pipeline across a broad range of storytelling styles.
