MADISON, WI, UNITED STATES, August 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Strong communities begin with organizations that care for their neighbors. This year, the WPS Charitable Foundation is helping 31 nonprofits continue that essential work through $340,000 in grant funding.
These grants support the programmatic needs of organizations that are making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. Whether expanding mental health resources for veterans, enriching programs that support seniors, or ensuring children have the supplies they need for a successful school year, each nonprofit plays a vital role in fostering access and opportunity.
“Each of these organizations delivers critical services to seniors, veterans or those seeking mental health support—areas the WPS Charitable Foundation is deeply committed to improving,” said Vicki Bernards, WPS Charitable Foundation Board Secretary and Treasurer. “We are honored to champion their work, and the impact of these grants is amplified by partners who lift up those in need and drive lasting, positive change.”
The WPS Charitable Foundation is proud to recognize these organizations and celebrate their ongoing efforts to empower individuals and strengthen our communities.
