LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, August 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- A fifty-year-old hit song has delivered the first bona-fide audience hit for indie distributor Hannover House, Inc. (OTC: HHSE). “Wildfire: The Legend of the Cherokee Ghost Horse” – a family appeal feature film based on the number 1 worldwide hit song by Michael Martin Murphey – has connected with streaming audiences worldwide, and positively impacted the company’s revenues. Sales for the quarter ending June 30, 2026 jumped to $485,290 as compared to $99,730 for the same quarter last year; while bottom line profits surged to $400,810, an increase of more than 16-X over profits of $25,484 for the June 30, 2025 period.

“This is just the beginning of a new revenue cycle for Hannover House,” said Eric Parkinson, C.E.O. “Viewership of the film through streaming platforms worldwide continues to grow, and should result in consistent growth over the next few quarters. While we’re very happy with the current activity for ‘Wildfire’, we believe that the higher stature productions now underway for Hannover House will ultimately return many millions more in revenue.”

Current productions for Hannover House include the Oscar-caliber historic epic, “The 17N Conspiracy,” based on the true story of the democratic revolution in Greece in the 1970s. This high-profile production will be Hannover’s locomotive entry for revenue results and awards-consideration in 2027. Other productions for the company include the historic western, “Indian Territory,” and the anthology of Native American-themed short films called “Native Fables.” As a follow-up to his 2025 horror-thriller, “Unholy Song,” writer-director Arthur G. Night has partnered with Hannover House on an ambitious Christmas thriller called “Jolly,” which is now in post-production and set for a theatrical and streaming launch later this year. The company is also in pre-production for a $22-million sci-fi adventure to shoot in Malta called "Tempus Porta."

In addition to Hannover House facilitated feature productions, the company will also be releasing several acquisitions to theatres and streaming. “Sinatra: Eternity” was acquired at Cannes from Crisis Cinema and chronicles the life and career of Frank Sinatra as prompted by a writer interviewing the legend. “Sexbot” is a hilarious comedy for our current technological age, from writer-director Ash Baron-Cohen. Hannover House plans a major theatrical campaign for the film around Valentine’s Day, 2027.

The company will also promote the release of a political marketing book from best-selling author Barr McClellan starting next week. “American Manifesto: The Winning Campaign Strategies of President Donald J. Trump” goes behind the scenes and deep into the operations of Team Trump in 2024, as they devised and implemented a marketing campaign to emphasize voter hot-button issues, and to fuel the Democratic party leaders into self-sabotage by taking-the-bait on unpopular wedge issues. McClellan feels that the book is a must-read for any campaign strategist, as the information is useful for what to do, and what not to do, for current and upcoming political campaigns.

“Our current results prove the viability of our business strategy,” said Parkinson. “Our upcoming release slate will take us to the next level in terms of revenues, assets and profitability. We are thankful for the loyal support of our shareholders, and are happy that we are finally delivering on the results that will fuel a major growth in our stock value,” he concluded.

Hannover House was formed in 1993 as Truman Press, Inc., a specialty book publisher. Eric Parkinson purchased the company in 2002 and added DVDs to the company’s product offerings. Within just three years, Hannover House grew into a top ten DVD supplier for Walmart Stores, Inc., with significant market presence also earned through Target, Best Buys and thousands of other retail outlets in North America. With the market transition away from physical goods like DVD and BluRay products, Hannover House began placing titles with streaming services, and ultimately, found a working structure for independent products to follow a premium V.O.D. launch window, followed by wide distribution through Advertiser-supported V.O.D. providers (including Tubi and Roku). Higher profile products have also benefitted from the visibility and momentum generated from major market theatrical release windows, which Hannover House expects to become the leading revenue source for the company in 2027 for major features such as “The 17N Conspiracy.”

Hannover House also recently resurrected the Hemdale releasing brand, a company for which CEO Eric Parkinson was a principal for many years. Hemdale was one of the most prolific producers and distributors of quality, independent movies from 1967 until 1996, when the impressive film library was sold to MGM-UA. Hit films for Hemdale include “Terminator,” “Hoosiers,” “Criminal Law”, “Impromptu,” and Best Picture Academy Award winners “Platoon,” and “The Last Emperor.” Hemdale also set multiple sales records for home video releases, including chart-topping results for the animated features “Magic Voyage,” “The Princess & The Goblin” and “Little Nemo: Adventures In Slumberland.” Other Hemdale titles proved to be hugely popular rental videos, including “Savage Land,” “Future Shock” and “Grizzly Mountain,” all three of which were written and produced by Eric Parkinson. With Hannover’s new involvement in higher-profile features, Parkinson said that the timing to resurrect the Hemdale releasing brand felt right.

“We finally have Oscar-caliber projects again,” said Parkinson. “Producing and releasing these films under the Hemdale brand is an appropriate nod to the legacy of quality and socially-meritorious content that Hemdale established.”
