Unity Ride organized by Radon Riders and Apollo Tyres to bring Pune's motorcycle groups under one roof for a day of celebration and sense of common brotherhood

Pune: A group of  140 enthusiast motorcycle riders from various biking clubs in  Pune got together to promote Unity Ride. The endeavor was to organize a ride with motorcycle groups from all walks of life in Pune and participate in a fun-filled day comprising of various biking-related activities to better understand each other and establish a strong brotherhood. This year was the second successful year of Unity Ride. Mr Saif Syed took the initiative last year to create a group by bringing together admins of various biking groups in Pune with the sole objective of strengthening the bond and brotherhood amongst Pune bike riders. 

On this occasion, Radon Riders took up the cause of 'Meri Mati, mera Desh' whilst on this unity ride to pay homage to our motherland and fallen soldiers and spread awareness about the campaign. Radon Riders also participated in the Independence Day Rally organized by the Indian Army on the 15th of August at the War Memorial, Pune.

The event was sponsored by Apollo Tyres and hosted by Radon Riders. They were joined by 4 other motorcycle groups in Pune: The Lycans, Pune Wanderers, Rollin Wolves, and Real Raptors.
The ride started from Swargate's “Apollo” showroom to  'Housai Agro Tourism', Vai where the riders were greeted by the staff with great fanfare,  the sound of the bursting firecrackers, the sounding of trumpets, flamboyant colors, and cheering women.  Free breakfast, gifts, and fun activities including biking-related competitions were held, and certificates of participation were distributed to all. To end this momentous day the riders proceeded to ride to  Baramotichi Wihir in Limb, Satara to take in the sights and explore. 

The event was organized by the Radon Riders committee: namely, Abhishek Singh, Ram Futane, Jerry D'cuz, Sachin Khude, Sachin Talwar, Mrinal Pathade, and Aditi Darwatkar under the guidance of Core Committee members Adv Naresh Shelke and Dr Kishore Shinde. They were also joined by admins of other groups: Mr. Ramesh (Rollin Wolves), Mr. Savio (Lycans), Mr. Swaroop Kondhalkar (Real Raptors), Shri. Pankaj Bhandari (Pune Wanderers) Shri. Faiz, Mr. Aman.  The participating groups and their office bearers provided special support throughout the ride.
