The project began in January 2024. Users can choose among 61 localized versions on TextJuice, with language, currency, pricing and payment options adapted to each market.
Users can send a text from a computer, tablet or mobile browser; recipients receive a standard SMS on their phone without installing anything. The service supports personal messages, from birthday wishes to news for a friend abroad. TextJuice now also offers ready-to-use SMS templates and advice on communicating by text around divorce, weddings, condolences, jokes and party announcements.
To send a message, users enter a mobile number, write their text, check the preview and pay. The consolidation also brings a redesigned interface aimed at making this flow quicker and smoother, with an improved mobile experience. TextJuice charges for each message individually, with no pack of credits to buy.
Each SMS costs $2.49 on the US version, £1.99 on the UK version or €1.99 on the French version, with local prices and currencies elsewhere. The total is shown before payment and depends on the country version selected, not the SMS destination.
All international destinations are now accessible through the same TextJuice site, using valid, SMS-compatible mobile numbers in full international format with + and the country code. The unified service also adds tracking from sending through technical delivery confirmation. Users receive an order reference and a tracking page they can access without creating an account. A delivered status confirms technical delivery, not whether the message has been read.
TextJuice also lets users send an anonymous text without displaying their personal phone number to the recipient. Messages use a number managed by TextJuice and identify TextJuice as the sending service. The message's content can still identify its author; number privacy does not mean complete anonymity or untraceability. Recipients can report a message or block future SMS from TextJuice.
