SANDY VALLEY, NV, UNITED STATES, August 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Stimulus Broadband, a division of Stimulus Technologies, today announced the start of construction on a new fiber internet network serving Sandy Valley, Nevada. The project will bring high-speed fiber-optic internet to the community's approximately 1,246 households, with speeds up to 2,500 Mbps.

Construction has already begun and service will become available in phases, with full completion expected before the end of 2026. This expansion is supported by funding from the Nevada State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF), part of a broader effort to bridge the digital divide and close connectivity gaps in Nevada's rural communities.

“When we deploy fiber in a community like Sandy Valley, we’re thinking in decades, not years,” said Dustin Heath, Vice President of Engineering and Construction. “As construction moves forward, every decision we make, from network design to the infrastructure we install, is focused on building a state-of-the-art network that can deliver reliable, high-capacity service today and support the community’s connectivity needs for decades to come.”

Stimulus Broadband has a longstanding presence in Southern Nevada. Headquartered in Henderson, its parent company, Stimulus Technologies, has provided technology and connectivity services in the region for more than 25 years. The Sandy Valley expansion continues the company’s investment in bringing more internet options to communities throughout Southern Nevada.

"Sandy Valley is exactly the kind of community where reliable connectivity can make a meaningful difference," said Taylor Singleton, Marketing Director. “We’re a Southern Nevada company, and we’re excited to bring another internet option to the community and become a trusted local provider for the people who live and work here.”
