Version 1.0 is now available, bringing the full adventure to players with six playable Heroes, multiple maps, random events, and a wide variety of cards and Artifacts. Each Hero has their own story path, leading to multiple endings based on the choices players make throughout their journey.

An Original Triple-Zone Card Combat System
In Seekers Alliance: Hero’s Journey, battles unfold through card-based combat. Inspired by the area-control mechanics of Marvel Snap, the development team created a unique combat system centered around attacking and defending across three Zones: Speed, Attack, and Defense.

Players use Skill Cards in the three Zone colors, with each card activating its effects when played in a matching Zone. In a mismatched Zone, the card can only contribute to that Zone’s Energy value. Gray cards can activate their effects in any Zone, while dual-color cards open up even more strategic potential, giving players greater flexibility in both deckbuilding and combat.

In-Run Upgrades and Persistent Progression
Besides a diverse card pool, each Hero has their own Ultimate and Passive Skills, along with an exclusive Signature Ability. These distinct abilities give each Hero a different playstyle, creating new possibilities for both deckbuilding and gameplay with every character.

Heroes also have dedicated upgrade paths for their skills, with upgrades unlocked by defeating powerful opponents or discovering events on the map. Each Skill Card offers three upgrade paths, ranging from enhanced base effects to upgrades that can even change the card’s color.

At the end of each run, players earn Talent Points that can be spent on a persistent talent tree, permanently strengthening the entire team and allowing players to develop a playstyle that best suits their decks.

Multiple Endings and Endgame Challenges
Continuing the development team’s tradition of rich storytelling, Seekers Alliance: Hero’s Journey features extensive story content. Each Hero has their own story arc, told through story events, with different routes and endings unlocked based on the companions players choose and the paths they take.

To help players who are less familiar with card games ease into the experience, each Hero begins their journey in Normal Mode. After completing Normal Mode and reaching the first ending, players unlock Challenge Mode.

“In Challenge Mode, new routes lead to different endings, and the stories of the Heroes begin to intertwine. Players will have to discover how to reach each Hero’s true ending for themselves,” said Logan Chou, Executive Producer of Seekers Alliance: Hero’s Journey.

As more content is unlocked, a wide variety of challenges and collectibles await. With each run, players can uncover more of the secrets hidden across Sovereign’s Island and turn their discoveries into powerful new cards, Artifacts, and even hidden Heroes who can join their party, adding even more depth and variety to the late-game experience.
