Grants funded through the Papa Johns Foundation for Building Community 

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, UNITED STATES, January 12, 2024 /EINPresswire.com/ --  Today,  Papa Johns Pizza of Philadelphia announced that the Papa Johns Foundation for Building Community has awarded $20,000 to local nonprofit organizations in the Philadelphia area to support their work to strengthen the local community. 
 
Organizations in the Philadelphia area receiving the Papa Johns Foundation Building Community Fund grants include: 

● Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia – $7500 to help provide K-8 grade scholarships to under resourced Philadelphia families

● Philabundance Food Bank – $10,000 to help provide daily meals to children, families and seniors

● Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia – $2500 to help support families of seriously ill children 

In nearly 40 states across the United States the Papa Johns Foundation for Building Community is awarding $1.4 million to 270 organizations whose work supports the Foundation’s focus areas – youth leadership and entrepreneurship, food security and food waste reduction. Earlier in 2023, Papa Johns of Philadelphia joined other Papa Johns franchisees in applying for grants to support the work of these organizations in their respective communities.
