The new service allows organized groups to travel together in one vehicle instead of splitting across multiple minibuses.
MUNICH, BAVARIA, GERMANY, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- OsaBus, a passenger transport company based in Erding near Munich, has expanded its fleet to include coach hire with driver, adding vehicles seating up to 49 passengers to its existing minibus service. The offering is aimed at organized groups traveling together across Munich, Bavaria, and neighboring Austria.
The service is intended for groups that previously required multiple smaller vehicles to travel together, including school and university excursions, corporate delegations, sports teams, and tour operators. According to the company, splitting a group of 30 to 40 people across several minibuses typically means coordinating multiple pickup times and drivers, with the group arriving at its destination separately rather than together. A single coach allows the group to travel on one schedule with one driver for the full itinerary.
The company is based in Erding, just outside Munich, placing it within reach of destinations across Bavaria, Austria, and the Alps. Germany's tourism sector recorded new highs in visitor numbers and overnight stays in 2025, with Oktoberfest drawing record attendance including a rising share of visitors from the United States and the United Kingdom, according to industry reports.
Each coach booking includes a driver who meets the group at the airport, assists with luggage, and remains with the group for the duration of multi-stop itineraries.
"Large groups have different needs than small ones - it's not just about seats, it's about keeping everyone together and on schedule," said Oskars Lusis, CEO of OsaBus. "That's the gap our coach service is built to close."
OsaBus provides coach and minibus hire with driver across Germany, serving groups of varying sizes.
