MOOYAH Expands in Utah with Additional Six-Unit Development Deal

Established franchisees Art and Nick Depole build on success, increase presence across Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, UT, UNITED STATES, August 25, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, the Texas-based company that offers made-to-order burgers, French fries hand cut from Idaho potatoes, and real ice cream shakes, is expanding its presence in Utah thanks to established franchisees Art and Nick Depole. The brothers recently signed an additional six-unit deal to grow their portfolio with locations in Salt Lake, Davis, and Utah counties, along with St. George, Utah in Washington County. The next location is projected to open by summer 2027.

The Depoles currently own and operate four MOOYAH locations in Utah, including the recently opened restaurants in Provo and Riverton, as well as their established locations in Sandy and South Jordan.

“I discovered MOOYAH as a customer when I was living in California. The fresh and higher quality ingredients of the craveable burgers drew me to the brand and I knew I wanted to be a part of it,” said Art Depole, Partner at MOOYAH Utah. “We’ve seen firsthand the opportunities Utah’s unique consumer landscape offers through our existing locations, and we look forward to leveraging those insights as we expand into new markets across the state.”

The Utah restaurants consistently rank among the top performers across the MOOYAH system, with the Provo location benefiting from its proximity to Brigham Young University and the Sandy restaurant serving a thriving business district.

“We are excited to strengthen our partnership with Art and Nick, who are an inspiration for our team with their demonstrated success and passion for the brand,” said Michael Meche, President for MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes. “Their recent signing for six additional restaurants is a fantastic testament to their belief in MOOYAH’s growth potential and commitment to bringing our exceptional products to more communities.”

MOOYAH currently operates 80 locations across the U.S. and internationally, with a flexible franchising strategy designed to adapt seamlessly to a variety of real estate opportunities. The brand’s restaurant designs can accommodate diverse footprints and market needs, with features including a drive-thru option, dedicated to-go and third-party pickup areas, kiosks, digital menu boards and flexible seating options that create a welcoming, modern guest experience.
