How it works
Buyers register a free account, pass a quick identity check, and can browse live auctions the same day. Each listing carries photos, known flaws, modifications, ownership documents and a supplier condition report. From there it is either open bidding or a Buy Now option for anyone who would rather skip the wait.
Current inventory shows how wide the range runs: a 2018 Tesla Model 3 with a starting bid of \$2,000, a 2023 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, off-grid Mercedes Sprinter camper conversions with solar panels, Airstream and Thor motorhomes, boats, and heavy equipment. According to the company, more than 100 lots are live at any given time, and new inventory goes up as lenders release it.

What buyers actually get
Repossessed-vehicle sales have historically carried a reputation for risk among retail buyers. Each purchase through Main Gate Auctions includes a 6-month or 10,000-mile limited warranty, a policy the company says is rarely offered on repossessed inventory, plus a 14-day return window with up to 1,000 test miles. Refunds on approved returns are processed within 48 to 72 hours.
Delivery is handled by insured, licensed carriers to all 48 contiguous states. The first 1,000 miles are free; beyond that, it is a flat \$1 per mile regardless of the vehicle's size. Payment is currently completed by bank wire transfer, with additional payment methods in development.
Buyers who want to look before they bid can inspect any vehicle in person or send an independent inspector. The company says it will arrange access on request. Titles are handed over with the vehicle at delivery, not mailed afterward.

Industry analysts have reported rising vehicle repossession volumes in the United States as borrowers face higher car payments, leaving lenders with growing volumes of recovered inventory.
