Expanding Global Consumption Touchpoints for K-pop Fans

SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE, September 22, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ --
• Registers as an Alipay+ Mobile Payment Partner (MPP) to expand NAMANE PAY's global QR payment service
• Strengthens payment convenience across concerts, merchandise, travel, and other spending in the K-pop fan journey
• Expands global consumption touchpoints for K-pop IP through partnerships with entertainment and payment companies
• Reinforces the 'EnterFin' business model, combining entertainment and financial technology

i-Aurora (CEO, Chang Young-soo), which operates the global payment and wallet service NAMANE, is expanding the reach of NAMANE PAY in the global K-pop consumption market through its integration with Alipay+.

i-Aurora has registered as a Mobile Payment Partner (MPP) of Alipay+, the global digital payment network operated by Ant International, and is preparing a global QR payment integration, targeting a launch by the end of September.

Through this integration, NAMANE-verified members will be able to pay at overseas Alipay+ merchants using NAMANE PAY's QR payment, in addition to the domestic offline card payments they already use.

i-Aurora is paying close attention to how fan spending patterns are changing rapidly alongside the global expansion of K-pop.

A global fan's experience no longer stops at listening to music or watching videos. It naturally extends to attending concerts and fan meetings, purchasing albums and merchandise, traveling abroad and visiting Korea, and sightseeing and shopping. A market is forming in which a single piece of IP creates diverse consumption experiences across countries and channels.

Amid this shift, i-Aurora's strategy is to widen the consumption touchpoints between K-pop IP and global fans through payment and wallet technology.

NAMANE has provided domestic payment and transit functions in Korea through its prepaid card and mobile wallet. Through this Alipay+ integration, the company is extending the payment experience that began domestically into overseas markets, broadening an environment in which global fans can spend more conveniently even as the country or payment environment changes.

i-Aurora is also adding a feature that converts a member's Korean-won prepaid balance into 58 currencies at real-time exchange rates. This allows overseas users to check their balance and transaction history in a currency they are familiar with — whether traveling abroad or at home — without calculating the exchange rate themselves.

i-Aurora defines this combination of payment and wallet technology with entertainment consumption experiences as 'EnterFin' (Entertainment × Finance). The core idea is to apply financial technology to the diverse spending that occurs around K-pop IP — concerts, fan events, merchandise, travel, and tourism — expanding both convenience and spending opportunities for global fans at the same time.

This is also where i-Aurora sees its role within the entertainment industry.

The artists, content, and fan relationships that entertainment companies hold are the core competitiveness of the K-pop industry. i-Aurora is focused on expanding the technological touchpoints — centered on payment and wallet — that help this IP reach overseas fans more smoothly and translate into actual purchases and consumption.

As fan experiences expand into diverse areas — concerts and fan events, merchandise and commerce, travel and tourism — the aim is to increase payment convenience and help a single piece of IP meet fans across more countries and spending environments.

Through this, entertainment companies can offer overseas fans a more convenient purchasing experience built on their existing IP, and expand a range of global business opportunities extending into payments, commerce, and tourism.

In particular, i-Aurora believes that the global expansion of entertainment IP is not completed through content distribution alone, but must also be designed around the process by which fans actually purchase, travel, and experience things. Since payment and wallets are the touchpoints that recur most frequently in this process, the company believes that narrowing the gap between countries' payment environments and simplifying the fan purchasing experience can be an important factor in strengthening the global business potential of IP.

Going forward, i-Aurora plans to expand its cooperation with entertainment companies and global payment providers, connecting NAMANE's technology and services to the diverse consumption experiences that arise around K-pop IP.

CEO of i-Aurora, said:
"K-pop's competitiveness now goes beyond content — it is creating diverse global consumption through concerts, merchandise, and tourism. For this market to keep growing, we need to build an infrastructure that lets fans purchase and experience things conveniently, regardless of their country or payment environment."

"NAMANE PAY's integration with Alipay+ is an important step in expanding the payment and wallet technology i-Aurora holds into the global market. Going forward, building on EnterFin, we will keep working with entertainment and global payment partners to widen the ways K-pop IP can reach more global fans."

Starting with this Alipay+ integration, i-Aurora plans to progressively expand NAMANE's global usage environment and strengthen its competitiveness in payment and wallet technology within the global consumption market forming around K-pop.
