At the centre of HelmX is a proprietary Visual Positioning System (VPS) designed for GPS-denied areas such as process plants, enclosed industrial environments, and offshore decks. VPS automatically places field observations, reports, tags, anomalies and compatible third-party sensor readings at the correct position and asset inside a 3D environment — vision-only localization against previously mapped site models, without beacons, tags, or dedicated radio infrastructure.
