There is a convention in the formalwear rental trade that most grooms discover only once they start calling shops. Rent from the same store as four to six groomsmen and the groom's own tuxedo is free. It is a genuine saving, and it comes with a condition that is easy to overlook while planning a wedding. The free tuxedo goes back on Monday, along with everyone else's.

SuitCentury has applied the same idea to suits nobody returns. When seven or more participants in a group event complete payment, the organizer receives a credit toward his own suit matching the price point the majority of the group selected. The credit is issued by email once every participant has paid and becomes redeemable after the event. How a wedding party orders

The organizer builds one look from a jacket and pants, assigns it to the whole party or to specific roles, and sends each groomsman a personal invitation link. Each man then selects his own size, pays for his own bundle and has it shipped to his own address. The organizer never collects money from anyone and never fronts the cost of the group, which removes the part of wedding attire planning that most often stalls.

Because ordering is individual, a wedding party spread across several states proceeds exactly as one in a single town would. The organizer tracks who has ordered and who has not from a single dashboard.

Sizing a group nobody has met

The practical objection to buying wedding attire online has always been fit, and it is sharper for a group than for one person. A groom can visit a tailor. Six groomsmen in six cities cannot.

SuitCentury's answer is an AI size calculator that asks for height, weight and waist, takes under a minute and requires no tape measure. It returns jacket, pant and shirt sizes for each participant. The company reports 13,000 completed sizing calculations to date and a 99.6 percent fit accuracy rate across them, with the underlying model trained on customer fit data over time.

Every order also includes home try-on, and size exchanges are free with shipping covered in both directions. Wedding parties are advised to order six to eight weeks ahead so there is room to exchange anything that needs exchanging well before the ceremony.
