Pune: GD Goenka Healthcare Academy, the country's leading institute for producing healthcare technicians and assistants, has started in Pune. This academy was started at Golden Nest in Handewadi. The academy was inaugurated by MLA Amit Chachan from Nohar in Rajasthan and Mohit Mehra, CEO of Goenka Healthcare, former mayor of Pune Prashant Jagtap, director of Kothari Public School Mayur Shah. Mohit Mehra said that India's healthcare industry is experiencing a huge shortage of trained paramedics during the Corona period. Through this academy, we are trying to fill this deficiency. For this, scalable and standardized courses are designed for Diploma, Degrees, and Masters. Maitreyee Deshmukh said that proper training in health care through 7 diplomas and more than 12 certified courses will be imparted through this academy for the bright future of confused students after 10th and 12th. It will mainly consist of technical education required for X-ray technicians, nursing assistants, laboratory technicians, emergency medical technicians, dental assistants, and other healthcare assistants.
