This methodology aims to help students view incorrect answers as useful information during the learning process rather than a final score. Cuemath has structured its tutoring around a combination of human tutoring and AI-based tools, rather than AI-only instruction. The company said this decision followed observations that software-only tutoring products have had difficulty maintaining student engagement.
Within this structure, Cuemath said AI tools are used to analyze student data, including worksheets, app activity, and tutor and parent feedback, to help build individualized learning plans. Tutors are responsible for encouraging participation, building curiosity, and guiding students through difficult problems.
