A New Era Unveiled: George Institute of Interior Design Opens in Pune

Pune – Pune welcomes the grand inauguration of the George Institute of Interior Design (GIID), an initiative of the George Telegraph Group. Situated at the Boulevard Tower, Sadhu Vaswani Chowk, GIID promises to redefine interior design education.

Established in 1920 by the George Institute of Interior Design (GIID) inherits a century-long legacy of the Group. The parent organization, since 1920, is an ISO 9001:2015 certified Registered Trust, dedicated to skill development and empowerment, partnering with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

In his address, Mr. Subrata Dutta, Managing Director of The George Telegraph Group, emphasized "At GIID, we transcend education to cultivate dreams, nurture talent, and architect the future”.

Headquartered in Park Street, Kolkata, GIID reflects the group's commitment to excellence, shaping careers for over a century. With 70+ nationwide centers and a legacy of 25,000+ students, GIID stands as a premier destination for aspiring designers and innovators.

Dr. Asmita Jagtap, Executive Director of Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical Foundation, graced the inauguration as Chief Guest, alongside film personalities Milind Gunaji and Manjiri Fadnis.

Dr. Sangeeta Roychaudhuri, Founder of GIID, Pune, emphasized the institute's ethos, stating, "We are not just educators; we are nurturers of talent, creators of dreams, and architects of the future."

Dr. Milind Nadkarni, Co-Founder of GIID, Pune, echoed this sentiment, focusing on the institute's modern approach. "We aim to equip students with practical knowledge for their betterment in the profession of Interior design," expressed Mr. Nadkarni.
