As of August 15th, Taliban Militants retook Afghanistan's capital, ensuing violence, panic and chaos globally. Since then, there?s been an increase in the loss of civilian lives, which often leads to animal casualties being overlooked. With abandoned and injured animals roaming the streets, Kabul Small Animal Rescues is canvassing nearby areas to rescue as many animals as they can. Hundreds of animals have been saved thus far, however, with cash shortages and supply chain issues, resources are even more scarce. Kabul Small Animal Rescue and CUDDLY are asking friends and animal advocates to help reach their goal of $60,000 to provide for the on-going care of these animals.
